Scorpions ‘Coming Home’ India Tour Cancelled

Fans will be disappointed to know that Scorpions, a legendary German hard rock band, have cancelled their much-awaited ‘Coming Home’ India Tour 2026. Formed in 1965 in Hanover by guitarist Rudolf Schenker, the band is known for iconic tracks like Wind of Change and Blackout. The tour was scheduled to kick off in Shillong on April 21 at JN Stadium.

After that, they were set to perform in Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26, and finally in Mumbai on April 30. The organisers took to Instagram to announce the news. They stated that the show stands cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members. The organisers also apologised for the inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans.

Fans To Get Refund Within 7-10 Working Days

All tickets purchased on BookMyShow will be automatically refunded within 7-10 working days. The organisers also shared that the band is keen to perform in India. This means fans should not lose hope, as Scorpions might return with new dates.

According to The Economic Times, Scorpions last performed in India in the 2000s. They toured the country as part of their ‘Acoustica Live Tour’ in August 2001 with a concert in Bengaluru. They also performed in December 2008 in Shillong, Mumbai, and Bengaluru during their ‘Humanity World Tour’.
