Somnath To Delhi In 14 Hours
At present, the road journey from Somnath in Gujarat to Delhi covers around 1,420 km and generally takes between 22 and 24 hours. The proposed high-speed corridor is expected to reduce the distance to approximately 1,200 km and bring the journey time down to around 14 hours. The project includes the development of a roughly 680-km Somnath–Dwarka Expressway in Gujarat. The proposed corridor is expected to improve connectivity between several important cities and towns in the state while also creating direct links with neighbouring states.

The highway is expected to connect Gujarat with six major states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. This could provide a faster route for both passenger and commercial traffic travelling between western and northern India.
