When we think of trains, the first thing that usually comes to mind is travel. But imagine a train being used for birthday parties, pre-wedding shoots and whatnot! It’s unique, right? But it will soon be a reality. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has now introduced a new initiative where you can book Namo Bharat trains for celebrations and events. Here are the prices and booking details you should know.
Namo Bharat Trains Can Now Be Booked For Private Parties
Namo Bharat trains could be your next destination to host private parties. This new and unique initiative by NCRTC allows people a rare chance to party inside India’s newest rapid rail system. As per a report by India Today, this one-of-a-kind initiative not only lets people celebrate in a unique way but also helps generate new revenue streams.
Reportedly, along with Namo Bharat trains, select stations along the Delhi-Meerut corridor can also be booked for special celebrations. This includes birthday parties, pre-wedding photoshoots and other events too. Wedding planners, photographers and media agencies can also book Namo Bharat coaches, whether the train is parked or running.

Prices, Timings & Booking Details
Yes, the initiative is great. But now you must be curious about the price details and more. According to a report by India Today, the starting price is ₹5,000 per hour. Each booking will also include an additional 30 minutes for setting up and packing up. All events will be allowed only between 6 am and 11 pm.
A special mock-up coach at the Duhai Depot is also available for stationary shoots. It offers a controlled environment for set-ups and lighting. While organisers can decorate the coach or station area, NCRTC has kept some restrictions. Only simple decorations will be allowed. Anything that can damage the interiors or affect passenger services will not be allowed. Moreover, NCRTC staff and security personnel will remain present throughout the event to ensure safety and smooth operations.
Namo Bharat trains can also be booked for film shoots, documentaries and advertisements. These bookings will be available for short time slots at competitive rates. Authorities also believe that stations like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Duhai and Meerut South are expected to attract many. These stations are visually appealing, have clean architecture and offer open spaces perfect for shoots.
