Indian Railways and South Star Rail, the first private sector service provider, will now operate summer special tourist trains to the Vaishno Devi Temple and the beautiful Kashmir Valley in April this year. Special Tourist Trains For Vaishno Devi & Kashmir Valley
South Star Rail, India’s first private sector service provider under the Bharat Gaurav Train initiative of Indian Railways, has made an important announcement. In collaboration with Tour Times, it is all set to start two summer special tourist trains. These include the Kashmir Valley Holiday Special and the Vaishno Devi Holiday Special. This means that if you are planning a trip to either of these destinations this year, your travel planning could get much easier.
According to a report by The New Indian Express, unlike regular trains, reservations for these services are not available on the IRCTC website. Travellers can book directly through Tour Times at 9355021516 or via the website www.tourtimes.in. Both the Kashmir Valley Holiday Special and Vaishno Devi Holiday Special are 13-day all-inclusive tour packages starting from April 11. Bookings are now open.

What Are The Fares Of These Tourist Packages?
According to The New Indian Express, the Kashmir Valley package covers Agra, Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Amritsar, and Delhi. Fares start at ₹42,400 per person for Sleeper Class. The Vaishno Devi package covers Agra, Mathura, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Kurukshetra, Vaishno Devi, Amritsar, and Delhi. Fares for this package start at ₹36,800 per person.
These trains will board passengers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They will stop at Penukonda, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool, Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, and Secunderabad. Each train is equipped with modern amenities. Travellers will also get benefits like onboard security, tour managers, sightseeing, transfers, hotel stays, unlimited meals, and more.
