Swiggy, an online food delivery platform, has now launched a dedicated ‘Food Safety’ channel and a helpline number for customers to report food safety concerns. Keep reading to know how these new customer support features work and how customers can submit a complaint regarding their food.
Swiggy Launches Dedicated Food Safety Channel & Helpline Number
Swiggy is considered one of the best online food delivery platforms, and you can use it to get your favourite meals and beverages at home quite easily. To make the consumer experience smoother, the platform has now launched a ‘Food Safety’ channel in the in-app Help section.
Customers can use it to share details and relevant pictures. On submitting a complaint via a short message, they will also receive a ticket number to track their complaint. Their concerns will then be reviewed on priority by Swiggy’s Food Safety Assurance Team. Not just that, but Swiggy has also launched a dedicated 24×7 helpline number. Users can call 7948231850 to report any food safety-related concerns. Swiggy will raise the issues and take necessary action.

New Customer Support Features To Identify Food Safety Concerns
According to Swiggy, this dedicated helpline and channel on the app will also serve as an intelligence tool for Swiggy. It will help the platform identify repeated concerns, detect patterns, engage restaurant partners and also strengthen preventive measures across the platform.
Talking about the new features, Sidharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace, said, “While we continue to work closely with our restaurant partners on food safety, we are also further strengthening the ways in which customers can raise any concerns they may have. Customer feedback has always been an important part of how we work, and these additional touch points will further help us in identifying and addressing any gaps, wherever they may arise.”
On the other hand, Swiggy continues to work with restaurant partners to encourage them to use high-quality ingredients, follow hygienic practices and maintain food safety standards.
