Sanju Samson, a right-handed wicketkeeper-batter, became the Player of the Tournament and, since last night, has been getting praise and appreciation from all across India. But did you know that apart from cricket, Sanju is really passionate about food too? Keep reading to know what this star cricketer loves to eat!

Sanju Samson Loves Homemade Food

When it comes to food, cricketer Sanju Samson is not really fussy. According to one of his older interviews with Oaktree Sports, the cricketer opened up to Gaurav Kapur and shared that he loves eating anything that his mother and wife cook at home. But apart from that, he is really fond of food from Kerala. Sanju Samson’s home is located very close to the sea, so he often gets fresh fish early in the morning. Using that, he enjoys curry meen made at home by his mother.

Not just that, Sanju also loves tapioca and fish, which are popularly called kappa and meen in Kerala. In the interview, the cricketer said that Kerala has a lot of food options for foodies like him. Since the food is so delicious, it is also easy to gain weight. But according to Onmanorama, Sanju Samson also follows a strict diet to maintain a perfect body ratio. Apart from enjoying his kappa and fish, the star cricketer makes sure to add plenty of fruits and vegetables to his daily diet.

Star Cricketer Also Loves Delhi’s Aloo Paranthas

In the interview with Oaktree Sports, Sanju Samson also revealed that he loves food from Delhi as well. And no, they are not samosas. When in the capital, the cricketer loves to gorge on aloo paranthas and chole bhature. According to Onmanorama, drinking milk every day was also a must for him during his time in Delhi.

His father, Samson Viswanath, was in the Delhi Police, and the cricketer spent a lot of time in the city. His father used to get fresh buffalo milk for his children when the family lived there. Sanju Samson studied and played cricket in Delhi during his early years. He also made some of his closest friends in the city. Over time, apart from having a soft corner for Kerala’s delicacies, he came to love Delhi’s food as well.
