Air India Express Mumbai-Muscat Flight Faces A Major Delay
Air India Express has recently faced significant operational issues. Due to an unforeseen technical problem, a flight from Mumbai to Muscat was delayed for around 10 hours. According to a report by Times of Oman, the flight was scheduled to arrive at 11:20 pm on Saturday in Muscat but landed around 9:20 am the following morning.
Passengers had to endure an overnight wait at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Reportedly, the aircraft developed a snag just before departure. The delay, which was expected to be short, stretched for several hours. Travellers were also asked to disembark from the plane and undergo security procedures again.
Passengers Raise Concerns Over Poor Communication
According to the Times of Oman, many passengers were frustrated over the extended wait. Some of them also complained about poor communication from airline staff regarding the revised departure time. Moreover, the departure time kept changing, leaving passengers confused and unsure. This overnight delay has started a serious discussion online, not just about safety but also about the carrier’s responsibility.
Passengers are criticising Air India Express for being unable to manage long delays and for not providing clear answers during unforeseen operational issues. And naturally, anyone would feel frustrated after spending an entire night at the airport waiting for their flight. Long delays often leave travellers tired, stressed, and unsure about their plans. Better communication by the airline staff can make the experience much easier for everyone.
