The annual pass will allow someone to travel seamlessly on designated national highways and expressways across the country for an entire year. As per The Economic Times, gifting the pass is quite simple.
Here’s how it works:
- Open the Rajmargyatra app and click on the ‘Add Pass’ option.
- Enter the vehicle number and contact details of the recipient.
- Once the OTP is verified, the annual pass automatically gets activated on the FASTag linked to that vehicle.
This is truly a unique gift idea for anyone who enjoys road trips. The FASTag Annual Pass also removes the hassle of frequent recharges. You just have to make a one-time payment of ₹3,000, which includes one-year validity or up to 200 toll plaza crossings. The announcement was also made by @NHAI_Official on X today.

A Smart And Useful Diwali Gift
As per a report by The Economic Times, currently, FASTag is accepted at over 1,150 toll plazas across India, making it convenient for regular travellers. The pass is applicable for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and gets activated within two hours of payment through the Rajmargyatra app.
You would also be interested to know that the FASTag Annual Pass was launched on August 15, 2025. Within just two months, it crossed 25 lakh users and recorded around 5.67 crore transactions! FASTag was also launched to promote digital payments and reduce cash transactions at toll plazas of designated highways and expressways. The pass has undoubtedly made travel seamless and hassle-free for hundreds of travellers.
