The project is expected to significantly boost regional connectivity, connecting Lucknow with Hardoi, Sitapur, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, and Unnao.
Vigyan Path will span 250 kilometres and will have six-lanes, once completed. The groundwork of the expressway has already begun, and it is expected to become operational by 2027. To Slash Travel Time & Ease Traffic Flow
As per reports, Vigyan Path will help decongest Lucknow and ease traffic pressure on main roads like Ayodhya Road, Rae Bareli Road and Hardoi Road. Heavy vehicles will be able to skip the city traffic as well and travel along the outer peripheral stretch of this expressway.
The upcoming project will also significantly slash travel time from Lucknow and bring it down to just one hour for neighbouring districts. Furthermore, the Lucknow Development Authority also plans to set up 20 development nodes along the expressway. It will feature industrial parks, schools, healthcare centres, and commercial hubs–all aimed at improving Lucknow’s economic ecosystem.
