A traveller recently took to her Instagram account to share her first impressions online, describing the journey as a glimpse of a “new India”. In the video shared by Saina Saiwan on Instagram, she revealed that she had the opportunity to travel on the Vande Bharat Sleeper a few days ago and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. According to her, the train creates a premium impression even before passengers enter the coaches. She described the exterior as having a “royal feel” and said the interiors were even more impressive.

The modern design and premium finish immediately stood out to her. She especially praised the lighting inside the coaches, saying it created a classy and sophisticated atmosphere. The interiors were so different from what she expected that she felt she was missing the usual “train vibe”. She also highlighted the amenities provided onboard. One of the changes she observed was the use of premium-quality coloured blankets instead of the conventional white ones passengers may be used to seeing on trains.

Cleanliness was another aspect that left a strong lasting impression. She stated that major attention had been given to maintaining hygiene throughout the train. The washrooms were also among the facilities she appreciated, calling them impressive and well-maintained. Another detail that caught her attention was the hygiene maintained by the staff while serving food. She noted that staff members were wearing gloves and hair covers while handling and serving meals.

Traveller Makes Special Appeal To Passengers

By the end of the video, while Saina was seen praising the facilities offered on the Vande Bharat Sleeper, she also made an appeal to passengers to maintain hygiene. She said that providing modern and premium facilities is only one part of creating a better travel experience. Passengers also have a responsibility to take care of these facilities and keep the train clean.

She urged travellers not to misuse or unnecessarily litter the coaches, stressing that everyone needs to do their part to ensure the upgraded experience remains enjoyable.
