A disturbing video on social media has sparked widespread outrage. In the video, a cook at a Ghaziabad eatery was seen allegedly spitting on rotis before baking them in a tandoor. The incident raised serious concerns about food hygiene and safety, prompting swift action from local authorities.

Man Caught On Camera Spitting On Roti At Ghaziabad Eatery

In the viral clip, the cook at the Ghaziabad eatery is allegedly seen spitting into the dough for the roti while preparing it. According to India Today, the incident occurred at a shop called Chicken Point in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. What has further shocked many netizens is that the act was carried out openly, right beside the tandoor, as the man continued making rotis in full view.

The disturbing act was reportedly filmed by a customer at the eatery, and the clip soon went viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and anger among viewers. The restaurant is located on the Delhi-Meerut Road. On January 8, the viral video came to the notice of the Vardhmanpuram outpost, under the Madhuban Bapudham police station, and they took action against the man.

Accused Arrested By Police

According to reports, the man seen spitting on rotis at the Ghaziabad restaurant has been arrested. Identified as Javed Ansari, a case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the law, and legal proceedings have been initiated, India Today reported. Following a preliminary investigation, the allegations shown in the viral video appear to be prima facie true, and the police have stated that further action will be taken accordingly.

This incident comes months after the shocking urine in juice incident in Ghaziabad. At that time, a shopkeeper was reportedly serving juice mixed with urine to his customers. The police arrested the shop owner and detained his minor assistant.
