An X user recently shared his experience, and it has now sparked curiosity among many.
Passenger Appreciates Vietnam Airlines
An X user, @Daksh_k1, who calls himself an aviation and travel enthusiast, recently shared glimpses of his flight on Vietnam Airlines. He wrote that the airline is highly underrated because of its service and the quality of food served on board. Daksh also mentioned that the staff gave him an amenity kit on a four-hour flight. For those who may not know, an amenity kit is a small pouch with essentials meant to add comfort during flights.
These kits are usually offered on long-haul journeys and include items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, and a compact hairbrush. Vietnam Airlines’ offering a full amenity kit on a short flight stood out. What really caught our eye, though, was the refreshing glass of Vietnamese iced coffee. It looked like it had been prepared in a cosy, Instagram-worthy cafe somewhere on the streets of Vietnam.

Vietnamese Coffee At 34000 Feet!
The X user also appreciated the coffee and wrote, ‘Of course, can’t miss this.’ Vietnam is not just known for its culture or the stunning landscapes of Ha Long Bay. It is also famous for its bold and flavourful Vietnamese iced coffee. This coffee is typically prepared using a phin filter and sweetened condensed milk.
It is creamy, strong, and always served over ice. You can easily find it at cafes across Vietnam. But seeing a passenger enjoy it 34000 feet up in the air was definitely not on our bingo cards. The user also shared pictures of the meal served on board. It included a citrusy mocktail, salad, and more. All the dishes looked fresh and healthy. Netizens were impressed too. One user wrote, “Amazing,” while another commented, “Awesome.”
