On its first day, Dia Mirza dropped by and absolutely loved their Bangalore Masala Dosa, Podi Idlis, Akki Roti, and the soft, sweet Mysore Pak.
And that’s not all, even Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted at Benne! Deepika, who grew up in Bangalore, must have felt right at home relishing the flavours she’s known since childhood. Their visit made one thing clear: Benne is not just another cafe; it’s a slice of Bangalore in Mumbai.
The star of the show here is the Benne Dosa, a crisp, golden delight that’s cooked in loads of butter, giving it a rich and comforting flavour. While the menu is limited, it’s packed with flavour. You’ll find dosas, idlis, medu vadas, and of course, a cup of strong Filter Coffee that perfectly completes the experience.
And now, it’s time for Delhi to join the Benne fan club. The team behind Benne recently shared a heartfelt video announcing that they are expanding to the capital. While they haven’t shared the exact opening date or location yet, they did mention it’ll be somewhere in South Delhi. Given how food-loving Delhiites are, it’s safe to say that this place is going to have queues right from day one!
