Talking about a moment from before the pandemic, Chef Vikas Khanna mentioned how Shah Rukh Khan shared valuable advice with him. He said, “We will use the energy to fly again”. He said it was the best advice that anyone could give. In fact, during the interview, Chef Vikas even goes on to say that Shah Rukh Khan also played a major role in the making of Bungalow. Although the restaurant is a tribute to his sister! From her favourite desserts being on rotation for birthday dessert to her playlist of favourite songs playing at the restaurant, everything is an ode to her.

Not only this, but SRK also advised him to do a TED Talk. In the TED Talk, he mentioned how he wanted to hear the story of Chef Vikas Khanna before he was famous. One that talked about his struggles with racism in the kitchen and personal struggles.
