As per a report by CNBC TV18, India’s longest bus route connects Bengaluru in Karnataka to Jodhpur in Rajasthan and covers around 1,950 kilometres and takes 37 hours to complete. The journey is said to be one of the longest intercity bus routes in India and provides travellers with an opportunity to witness multiple landscapes and cultures. The bus journey travels across multiple states, with the route beginning in Karnataka and passing through Maharashtra and Gujarat before reaching Rajasthan. Travelling along this long stretch allows passengers to observe the changing geography, languages, culture and food habits of all the states.
