Exclusive: What Does Sunday Brunch Taste Like At Nupur Sanon & Stebin Ben’s Home?

In case you were missing us, we are back with yet another fun episode of Sunday Brunch, and this time our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, visited the couple Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s Mumbai apartment. While indulging in heartfelt conversations, a delicious meal, and a lot more, the couple told us how a normal Sunday looks at their residence. Read on to know more.

Inside Nupur Sanon-Stebin Ben’s Homely Sunday Brunch

The couple gave our Editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, a quick tour of their lovely Mumbai house. While they were sitting at their house balcony, Kamiya, out of curiosity, asked what a typical Sunday Brunch sounds like at the newlyweds’ home. To which Nupur revealed how their weekend spread is a delicious blend of cultures, bringing together Nupur’s Punjabi roots and Stebin’s Malayali Christian heritage on one table.

Nupur stated, “I’m Punjabi; he’s Mallu Christian. We make South Indian food, and my Chole Bhature is like a ritual.” She also revealed how she likes South Indian cuisine more than Punjabi cuisine. The couple also shared how even when the couple isn’t home, Stebin’s parents often enjoy Chole Bhature, making it a family favourite. 

That was not just it; Nupur also revealed how they prepared an “amalgamation” brunch for Kamiya Jani. Revealing what is on the menu for Sunday Brunch, Nupur said that they got Chole Bhature, Uttapam, coconut chutney and sambar, everything prepared at home.

Nupur Sanon & Stebin Ben On Sharing Household Responsibilities

Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben also talked about how they split household chores and responsibilities, including caring for their pets. Kamiya asked them if everything is divided equally. To which Stebin quickly joked, “No, I think I do more.” To which Nupur instantly asked Stebin to honestly tell who had put in the most effort while setting up their beautiful Mumbai home. Laughing, he admitted that 70% of the work was done by Nupur, while he contributed the remaining 30%.
