In a recent episode of Sunday Brunch, our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, was invited by the Mohan sisters—Neeti, Shakti, and Mukti Mohan—to their penthouse in Thakur Village, Kandivali. While they had a wonderful time indulging in some delectable dishes, the Mohan sisters also revealed their favourite dish, which was made by their mother. Read on to find out more about it.
Mohan Sisters On Their Favourite Dish
Talking about everyone’s favourite dish made by Mom, all three sisters said in unison that it’s different: “Sabki alag alag hai.” To which their mom said, “Whenever I get to know that Neeti is coming home, I make ‘Gatte ki Sabji’, as that’s her favourite.” Pointing at Shakti, she said, “Iski hoti hai Quinoa,” and lastly she informed that whenever Mukti is home, she likes Rajma Chawal. “Golu arahi hai, main rajma chawal banati hu uske liye special.”
Listening to Rajma Chawal, Kamiya instantly asked, “Aaj banaya hai?” To which their mother replied, “Yes, Rajma Chawal, Quinoa, and Dahi Vada all have been made.”

Mohan Sisters Talk About Their Kandivali Penthouse
While sitting in their living room and chatting randomly, Kamiya asked everyone why they chose Kandivali’s Thakur Village to buy a penthouse. She asked whose choice it was. To which Neeti replied, “We came to the neighbour’s house for dinner. Then we sat on their terrace and had dinner. Then we saw that it almost had a 360-degree view. We could see the stars. We could see the stars for the first time. Flies were flying above us. It was beautiful.” Adding on to the conversation, Shakti said, “It was Didi’s idea. We have to pamper Mom and Dad so much.” She said, “Kyuki bahot childhood mein bataya ki aapki chaar betiyan hain, aur betiyan kuch karengi nahin,” aisa bolte the.
“Didi said that we have to give Mom and Dad such a house that they will feel that we have enough. We don’t live in a box; we don’t live in an apartment. We live in a big house. This was Didi’s idea,” Shakti concluded.
