This time, a group of men from India set the Guinness World Records (GWR) for the most number of coconuts broken with a baseball in one minute. A video of the daredevil feat was shared by Guinness World Records on its official Instagram handle. And Netizens can’t handle it!
Indian Group Sets Guinness World Record By Smashing 85 Coconuts With In 1 Min
The Bir Khalsa group from India has driven the Internet nuts with its latest feat. The all-Sikh men’s group smashed a whopping 85 coconuts on a team member’s head with a baseball bat in under a minute. This event happened on the set of Lo Show Dei Record in Milan, Italy on February 6 2024. A reel shared by Guinness World Records shows a man seated on the ground and his team members continuously placing one coconut after another on his head, covered by a turban, only to have another man smashing it forcefully, with precision, using a baseball bat.
The caption read that it was the most number of coconuts smashed with a bat in just one minute. 85 coconuts to be precise, by Bir Khalsa.
Bir Khalsa is no stranger to world records. This world-renowned group were given the ‘World’s Most Dangerous Group’ title on America’s Got Talent and was also the first runner-up on India’s Got Talent in 2010. The men hold seven Guinness World Records including this recent one.

Broken Coconuts Fed To Livestock Later
So, what happened to the smashed remains of the 85 coconuts? They didn’t go to waste. GWR clarified all food-related records come with a clause that the food must be later consumed by humans or in cases where the items are crushed, by livestock. Netizens flooded the comments section to break down their reactions to the bone-chilling feat. A person commented that one miss and the man would be cooked. Another said it felt illegal. A person called it “an amazing time to be alive.”
