Indian Railways always makes efforts to make sure that the journey of every single passenger is a memorable one for the right reasons. For this, apart from introducing new facilities, it has also been working on the modernisation and redevelopment of its railway stations across India. Recently, Indian Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared a proposed design of a railway station on Twitter. He asked the netizens to guess this temple inspired railway station.
Indian Railway Minister Shares Design Of A Railway Station
Indian railway stations are being redeveloped and modernised under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, and the designs are regularly posted on the official Twitter handle of Indian Railways. While posting the images, they generally name the station, but this time, Indian Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw thought of having a little fun. He posted the design of the station and asked people to guess it while giving them a small hint. He wrote that the design is inspired by a famous temple in the city to which this railway station belongs.
The design images show the railway spread across a large area with plenty of room for people to walk and cars to drive.The other image depicted the departure gate, which has seating areas and trees planted along the way.Though the name of the railway station has been blurred before posting, the beginning of the name is quite visible.

Netizens Tried Guessing The Name
The Indian Railway Minister’s guessing the railway station went viral shortly after it was posted on Twitter.It has so far received 3.4 million views on Twitter. Many people appreciated the design in the comment section. Some also tried guessing the place with the help of the hint given by the minister. A majority of the people guessed it to be Ayodhya at first, but after zooming into the picture, they knew this wasn’t the right answer.
Some people guessed it to be Somnath railway station, and that also matched the letters visible in the picture of the design. The Minister has not yet answered the post, but we too are pretty sure that the name is Somnath.
