Indian Railways has decided to launch a comprehensive ‘super’ app that will bring together different railway services on one platform! Read on to learn more about this!

Soon, Indian Railways will launch a unified super mobile app for its passengers. This new app will allow passengers to access all railway services on a single platform. According to The Times of India, the app will be launched by December this year and will allow passengers to book tickets, purchase platform passes, and even track train status – all on a single platform!

Currently, railway users have to use several different apps and websites for different purposes while booking their tickets. To streamline this process and make the process easier and more efficient for them, the Indian Railways decided to launch this new mobile application.

Here’s All You Need To Know About The New App

For now, it has been revealed that this new, comprehensive app will allow users to book tickets, buy platform passes, monitor schedules, check train status, book meals, and more on a single platform. While the exact date of launch hasn’t been announced, the app is likely to launch in December this year.

This all-in-one super app by Indian Railways is being developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). As per reports, this new app will combine IRCTC’s established systems to offer passengers a seamless experience. So, instead of juggling between apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, IRCTC eCatering Food on Track, Rail Madad, the Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS), and the National Train Enquiry System, you will be able to use them all in one place with this new super app.
