Indian Travellers Can Soon Fly To Sydney For Just ₹21,357 As Thai AirAsia X Resumes Flights From Bangkok; Details Inside

Good news, travellers! Thai AirAsia X is all set to resume all its flight operations from Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport. This is good news for Indian travellers because this will allow them to avail Fly-Thru services to several global destinations including Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Sydney without burning a hole in their wallets. Thai AirAsia X Marks Return To Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport

On August 20, Thai AirAsia X announced that they would return all its flight operations from Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport. Starting October 1 this year, Thai AirAsia X will resume flights from Bangkok to Sydney, Tokyo and other global cities like Osaka, Sapporo, and Nagoya. This will be great for Indian travellers as it will allow them to avail themselves of the Fly-Thru services to several global destinations during this year’s end travel season.

Indian passengers will be able to enjoy this travel opportunity from any one of the cities AirAsia flies from. This includes Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Tiruchirappalli, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow, Guwahati, and Gaya. As per a CNBC TV18 report, Thai AirAsia X currently has a fleet of eight Airbus A330 aircraft. By the end of this year, they plan to expand its fleet to 11. They plan to acquire three to five more aircraft yearly to keep up with their growth and increased demand.

Flight Schedule & Offers For Indian Travellers

At present, Thai AirAsia X flies direct flights from Bangkok to seven international destinations. These include Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo and Nagoya in Japan, Seoul in South Korea, Shanghai in China and Sydney in Australia. And with the return of all its flight operations from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport, Indian travellers will be able to explore all these destinations without burning their savings.

As per CNBC TV18 report, Thai AirAsia X will resume flights from Bangkok to Sydney from December 1, 2024. They will operate six flights a week. These flights will be operational on Tuesday (two flights), Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, returning from Sydney on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (two flights), and Saturday. This will allow Indian guests to Fly-Thru easily via Don Mueang International Airport to Sydney.

That’s not all, as a promotional fare, Indian travellers can get a ticket to Sydney at ₹21,357 for one side (Fly-Thru via Don Mueang). To avail of this offer, you will have to book flights between August 19 and August 25 for travel from December 1 onwards. You can book your tickets via the AirAsia MOVE app.
