Coffee lovers in Mumbai, it’s good news for you all. The city has a new coffee culture addition, and it’s all about innovation. Bokka Coffee in Bandra has introduced India’s first coffee-on-tap concept, bringing a trend commonly seen in global coffee capitals to the city. Read on to know more!
Bōkka’s Coffee-On-Tap Experience
Well, Bokka Coffee is the first-ever cafe in India to bring such a cool concept of tap experience. The idea behind the concept is simple: for the customers to be able to walk in, grab a coffee of their choice and head out within minutes without compromising on quality. The coffee-on-tap format perfectly aligns with what Bōkka stands for, that is, experimentation, customisable flavours and introducing distinctive coffee experiences to Indians.
Unlike traditional cafés that depend fully on espresso machines, Bōkka uses a tap system to dispense ready-to-serve exclusive beverages. One of its biggest attractions is what the café says is India’s first matcha on tap. Making a tap-based matcha beverage is especially challenging given that the matcha powder generally settles at the bottom, making consistency hard to achieve.

Apart from signature coffee, Bōkka has also introduced several fun and delectable beverages, like Brown Butter Maple Latte, 18-Hour Cold Drip Cold Brew and Sea Salt Ice Mocha.
Bringing A Global Coffee Trend To Mumbai
Coffee on tap has become progressively popular in cities such as Melbourne, Tokyo and New York, where people are looking for quicker service without compromising quality. Bōkka is now bringing that same experience to Mumbai’s booming speciality coffee scene.

The format also allows the café to experiment with flavours more easily and serve drinks smoothly, especially during rush hours. Located in Bandra, Bōkka is aimed at consumers who are constantly on the move but still want high-quality coffee experiences.
