Hotel art fairs have grown in popularity in recent years, blending the worlds of hospitality and art to offer one-of-a-kind and engaging experience. In recent years, they have grown to become citywide events. India’s one-of-a-kind hotel art fair, Artix comes for its second edition. This time, it reimagines the intersection of art and craftspeople, textiles and weaving, tribal art, and luxury.
Artix Comes For Its Second Edition
This Hotel Art Fair presents an unparalleled journey into the worlds of creativity and grandeur. The show is scheduled from March 16–17, 2024, at Hyderabad, Telangana’s Hotel Park.
The Hotel Park’s rooms and floors will be converted into private display places that radiate the artistic spirit and artistry of the artists once the beds are removed. Artix’s first exhibition will be unveiled, preceded by a preview party. This pioneering and famous hotel art fair that spans India will open up new opportunities for collectors in the coming years. Artix results from a carefully curated collection of artwork, live installations and interactions. The artistic geniuses of Payal Kapoor, Malvika Poddar, Timsy Anand, and Sethu Vaidyanathan are responsible for this event.
The idea behind this artistic endeavour was to combine local and international artists and art to highlight the splendour of customs and legacy. It is to provide a means for art lovers and collectors to explore the depths of the art world.
It’s First Edition Was In Delhi
In Artix edition 2, buyers and sellers will get to know one another in an art space transformed from a hotel room. Compared to typical art fairs, where the eye is constantly straining, it is more intimate. The event plans to be India’s first travelling art fair after Delhi and now in Hyderabad. Further, it plans to expand to Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, and beyond.
By converting spaces into immersive artistic experiences, Artix is a first-of-its-kind pan-Indian hotel art show that has a successful first edition and a second edition on the way. It rekindles the world of art and attracts a flood of art fans. The first edition happened on August 25–27, 2023, at the Taj Palace in New Delhi. Even the rooms and floors of the Taj Palace Hotel became private preview spaces of art.
