World’s 100 Best Dishes List Have India’s Murgh Makhani And Biryani
TasteAtlas just unveiled the world’s 100 best dishes and a total of three Indian dishes were included. Murgh Makhani or Butter Chicken ranked 29 on the list. Hyderabadi Biryani was the next, bagging the 31st spot on the list.
The last was Keema, bagging the 100th on this list. Of course, not everyone was happy about the ranking and many said that certain dishes were ranked too high, too low, or were not included.
The Following Is The List Of Top Ten Dishes On The List
1. Lechona, Colombia
Pig stuffed with peas, onions, rice and spices; a Colombian iteration of suckling pig.
2. Pizza Napoletana, Italy
A simple flatbread topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil and olive oil.
3. Picanha, Portugal
A cut of red meat that was popularised in Portugal.
4. Rechta, Algeria
A thin pasta dish served with chicken sauce.
5. Phanaeng Curry, Thailand
Also known as Panang Curry, this dish from Thailand is a creamy, zesty and spiced gravy.
6. Asado, Argentina
A type of barbecued meat, it is commonly served at social gatherings.
7. Çökertme Kebabı, Turkey
Originally from Anatolia, it is a type of Turkish kebab.
8. Rawon, Indonesia
A type of soup originating from the Javanese cuisine made from red meat.
9. Cag Kebabı, Turkey
A type of kebab made from lamb, stacked horizontally.
10. Tibs, Ethiopia
A dish made from cubed or sliced lamb or red meat cooked in traditional Ethiopian spices.
