Are you ready to travel in Business Class with IndiGo? Business Class on this airline sounds unbelievable, right? IndiGo took a significant step ahead of its 18th anniversary on August 7. It announced a major expansion to Business Class services with the launch of IndiGoStretch. This will be the first time since the domestic airline’s official launch that it will offer business class tickets to flyers.

Within just a few years of operating in India, the airline has captured a significant portion of the huge aviation market domestically. When it comes to booking economy tickets, most passengers prefer selecting IndiGo. Now, the airline decided on the next humongous strategic shift and entered the world of business-class services.

IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers announced the glorious introduction of the business class named ‘IndiGoStretch’ on August 5 at an event in Delhi. Initially, only some domestic routes will witness this one-of-a-kind new inclusion. The launch is for the busiest business routes in India. Once it becomes operational, the tailor-made business product will provide services from Delhi to a total of 12 metro cities.

The much-awaited business class will offer specially curated meals to passengers on board. According to the finalised decisions of the airline, IndiGoStretch will be available for the first time between Delhi and Mumbai. Peter Elbers also shared that IndiGoStretch business class tickets are starting from ₹18,000, according to a report by India Today.

  • Along with business class flight tickets from Delhi to Mumbai, the domestic carrier will also operate flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among others.
  • Ticket bookings will commence from August 6.
  • Passengers can start flying on IndiGoStretch business class from November 14.
  • According to a report by Moneycontrol, Oberoi Hotels will cater meals for passengers travelling on the newly announced business class.
