IndiGo To Operate Flights Connecting Durgapur With Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar & Guwahati From August

IndiGo is one of the few airlines that are presently introducing flights on new routes and expanding air connectivity within India. A major credit for enhanced flight connectivity domestically goes to this airline. Now, it is all set to create a significant link between Durgapur in West Bengal and nearby cities. IndiGo will start flights from Durgapur to Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati very soon.

IndiGo Will Start Operating Flights On New Air Routes From Durgapur In August

Travelling to West Bengal’s Bagdogra, Assam’s Guwahati, and Odisha’s Bhubaneswar from Durgapur is set to get easier. IndiGo will begin regular flight services from the Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport at the end of August. According to a report by The Times of India, the airline will initiate flights to Bhubaneswar from August 30.

There will be daily operations connecting Durgapur and Bhubaneswar. The IndiGo flight will land at Durgapur at 12:55 PM and depart for the destination at 4:35 PM. The scheduled plan for Bagdogra is to fly out flights 4 days weekly. IndiGo flight will take off from Durgapur at 1:15 PM for Bagdogra. It will come back to the origin airport at 4:05 PM.

The next connection is between Durgapur and Guwahati. Planes will provide services three times a week between these cities. The aircraft will take off at 3:15 PM. It will return at 4:50 PM. Interestingly, only IndiGo is operating flights from Durgapur at the present moment. Right now, there are direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

New Routes Strengthen Connectivity

IndiGo is operating flights to Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad every day from Durgapur’s Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport. Also, there are aircraft carrying passengers to Mumbai 4 times a week. The airline runs 3 flights to Chennai weekly. With the launch of regular operations to Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati, it will become easier for travellers to travel to different destinations conveniently.

People will not need to reach all the way to the Kolkata airport to travel to these cities. It will not only help in saving time but transportation costs as well.
