Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, stood outside a white door adorning a golden nameplate with “Kapoor’s.” A “knock knock, who’s there” game wouldn’t be much of a help as we were invited for a fantastic brunching session by none other than the beautiful actor, Janhvi Kapoor. From creating a buzz with her debut, Dhadak, to her latest film, Ulajh, she has come a long way! Janhvi was back home for just five hours! So, we made a quick pitstop at her Bandra place for this fun Sunday Brunch episode.
Curly Tales At Janhvi Kapoor’s Bandra Abode
The episode began with the actor greeting us at her lavish Bandra home. She was back from another promotional shoot and wanted to change into some comfy pyjama sets. Well, we mentioned that she was in Mumbai for only five hours. And out of that, she wanted to relish a good homely meal, stay at her home and be as comfy as possible. We obliqued all three requests!
We quickly checked out her stunning home and were captivated by the large paintings, sculptures, decor items and more. The aesthetics are majorly white, black, grey, and golden. Some of the statement pieces around the house caught our eye; however, the most beautiful thing we ever laid eyes on was a massive portrait painting of Sridevi, Janhvi’s mother!
This detailed painting was so intricate that it seemed lively. Just like Sridevi was smiling back at you! Apart from that every little corner was perfectly set up and we truly felt at home at “Kapoor’s”!

A North Indian And South Indian Brunching Session
Janhvi joined us back in her pyjamas and the conversations straight went to food, as it should. The actor told us that she has been craving a good home-cooked meal after touring various cities for her movie promotions. And filming at her place was the best option for that. Turns out, our guest loves to combine north Indian and south Indian dishes!
With her father being a north Indian and her mother, a south Indian, she has grown up mixing these two cuisines!
