Well, Expo City Dubai is celebrating International Museum Day and to mark the celebrations, all visitors would be offered complimentary access. So roam around all the flagship pavilions for free on 19th May 2023.
Expo City Offers Complimentary Access To All Pavillions
The objective of the campaign is to inspire visitors to consider how museums may influence environmental sustainability. It will also ensure that all people can access educational spaces. In accordance with the 2018 International Museum Day subject of “Museums, Sustainability, and Well-being,” the event will feature educational programmes. It has been carefully planned and also includes a treasure hunt among seven locations.
Every year on May 18, International Museum Day recognises a new topic and was created by the International Council of Museums in 1977. The purpose of holding this themed event at Expo City Dubai is to encourage locals to engage in some sustainable practices.
Visitors are encouraged to take benefit of this chance to visit Expo City Dubai’s major pavilions and learn more about how museums, sustainability, and well-being connect.

Which Pavillions Are Inclusive Of This Free Access?
The offer includes the three Stories of Nations Pavilions, the Women’s and Vision Pavilions, Terra, the Mobility Pavilion, the Sustainability Pavilion, the Mobility Pavilion, and Alif.
The day’s events feature climate-related film screenings and educational tours at Terra. You can take your children to a Lego workshop at Alif. This will allow participants to construct robot hands and study motors, sensors, and engineering principles. The Women’s and Vision Pavilions will offer craft activities for people of all ages.
Every year International Museum Day hosts different themes to keep the crowd entertained. The Sustainable Development Goals have been in the spotlight since 2020. Hence highlighting the part played by museums in establishing viable futures through educational initiatives, exhibitions, community engagement, and research.
