The world is all set to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21, and Delhi is nowhere behind. Yoga Day will be celebrated across the national capital, and the Union Ministry of Ayush has listed out 26 sites where the celebrations will take place. These 26 sites include Kartavya Path, Red Fort, and more. These sites also include major green spaces in the city.
26 Sites Are Set For Celebrations In Delhi

The Union Ministry of Ayush announced 26 sites in Delhi that will be celebrating International Yoga Day.
As per the list, there will be eight locations across Delhi where the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) will organise the event. The yoga sessions at Red Fort will be held by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The remaining 17 locations will have sessions held by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
The 26 sites include Red Fort, Connaught Place, Central Park, Kartavya Path, and the Commonwealth Games. These also include various major green spaces in the capital, like Lodhi Garden, Nehru Park, and Coronation Park.
Kuljeet Chahal, a member of the NDMC, mentioned that the preparations to celebrate Yoga Day in New Delhi for the 9th year are in full swing.

The yoga sessions that will be held at eight locations expect about 5,500 people to attend. Kartavya Path is one of the main sites for the same among the eight locations.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is all set to make arrangements for the presence of about 1,500 people at Kartavya Path. About 1,000 people will be accommodated at yoga sessions in Nehru Park, Lodhi Garden, and Talkatora Garden each. For each of these eight locals, a nodal officer has been appointed.
It is expected that about 300 people will attend the event at Sanjay Lake Park. About 200 people each will be attending the sessions at Singapore Park near the Singapore embassy, the New Moti Bagh IAS residence, and the CP Central Park events.
According to the information provided by an NMDC official, Lodhi Garden, Nehru Park, and Talkatora Garden will have build-up events held from June 17–20. The preparations include arranging drinking water facilities, medical facilities, and mobile toilets.
