Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation has launched a 3 Days 2 Nights MV Mahabaahu-Assam River Cruise Package. MV Mahabaahu downstream cruise package will cover destinations like Guwahati and Silghat. The ARC-MV Mahabaahu is an Assam River Cruise Package from Sirgat to Guwahati (downstream). According to reports, ARC-MV has introduced several luxury river cruises. The upcoming journey of this package will be on November 11, 2022.

Assam is one of India’s most attractive and diverse states. MV Mahabahu is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the beauty of this often-forgotten region. Assam is often difficult to navigate by road, but gliding along the Brahmaputra River is a great idea. Through this package, you can also visit the Umananda Temple on Peacock Island, the smallest inhabited river island in the world.
The package includes accommodation, meals, an English-speaking guide on board, all entrance fees, still camera fees, and on-site assistance.

According to the details available on the IRCTC website, a single room costs ₹55,125, a double room ₹ 31,500, and a child room (ages 5 to 12) ₹15,750. For all Suite/Deluxe/Luxury cabins on deck, they can accommodate an additional mattress. All Superior cabins on Deck I and Deck II can accommodate additional persons at their discretion. Space in the Superior Cabin is limited. Also, kids below 5 years of age can share rooms with their parents.

Taxes imposed by the Government of India and other charges as stated separately. Drinks (alcohol), personal laundry, all visa costs, tips, and videography are chargeable.
However, the most important thing is carrying proper identity cards. Make sure to carry IDs like an Aadhar card, passport, etc.
