Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met the beautiful and talented actress, Kajol, for the fourth time on the episode of Sunday Brunch. At Oh! Calcutta In Mumbai, we at Curly Tales decided to treat her with some delicious Bengali dishes. Throughout the episode, Kajol effortlessly identified every Bengali dish and introduced Kamiya to the dishes with their speciality and her personal favourites. Kajol is a certified foodie, and when it comes to food, she is a completely different person. Here’s what the actress said about her love for food.
Kajol Never Compromises When It Comes To Food
Our Simran from DDLJ shared in this episode that her relationship with food is truly special. Surely, she doesn’t like to cook, but what she loves to do is eat! Kajol openly admitted she could never follow the OMAD routine; one meal a day just isn’t for her. She doesn’t have the willpower for it, because staying away from food is impossible for her. She said, “Everywhere I go, I am looking at the food, giving people dirty looks.” Kamiya asked, “You are also someone who even gets angry, right?” She replied, “It’s better for the community at large that I am well fed.” According to Kajol, it’s safer to let her have her lunch on time because dealing with her without a lunch break. Not a good idea! Kajol is very particular about her food, and she tries to have her dinner by 6 – 6:30 PM.
Kajol’s daughter, Nysa, is a foodie just like her mom. She said, “Nysa, look up restaurants from all over the world, and when I travel to London or places like that, she books the places in advance.” Her daughter is the one in her family who plans the itineraries, and Ajay and Kajol both rely on her.

Will She Make A Dessert For Kamiya?
While enjoying the Bengali dishes like Chingri Malai Curry, Bhetki Fish Fry, Mochar Chop and more, we moved to the desserts. Bengal’s desserts are worth every penny, and how could we not have them with Kajol? Kamiya asked Kajol to make her a dessert after lunch and said she’s feeding her well, so Kajol has the energy to make it. She instantly replied, ‘’Babe, I am lazy and we have a cook to make us a dessert and send it out.’’ Clearly, for Kajol, the best part of dessert is eating it, not making it, and she shifted the responsibility to the chef, saying the dessert would be brought out by him instead.
