Mumbai Metro Line 3: Instagram Account Shares First Impressions
Emo Bois Of India, a popular Instagram account shared their first experience of riding on the Aqua line of the Mumbai metro. The inauguration took place recently and if reports are to go by, this particular phase was constructed at a cost of ₹14,120 crore.
The Instagram account took to their stories and shared a picture and a video. The picture was of the exterior of the station indicating that they were looking forward to riding on the metro. However, the short clip they shared from inside the metro expressed their disappointment.
The video showed technical errors on the electronic signboards inside. The caption called the metro train service “crap” and said that there were “lots of technical issues”.
“AVOID Until They Fix Things,” Says The Caption On Story
The caption goes on to mention that the metro train service halted for almost 20 minutes after the second station. The user then had to deboard the metro and take a local train. They also urged everyone to avoid the service unless and until they fix the technical issues.
The Line 3 of the Mumbai metro arrived with much pomp and fervour. People were generally optimistic about the service and its potential to relieve traffic congestion on the road and crowding in local trains. However, such accounts can be discouraging of the initial hopes.
