These Food Items Are Included In The SuperAgers’ Diet

A book named “The Age-Proof Brain” is where you will find much information about the SuperAgers and how they work on themselves to have strong immunity and a sharp brain. The writer of the book, Marc Milstein shared some habits of the SuperAgers with CNBC and how he includes some in his daily lifestyle too.

Here’s What His Breakfast Looks Like

He starts his morning at around 7 am and he chugs a tall glass of water first thing after waking up. Then he takes a walk for about 10 minutes before indulging in a breakfast full of protein. Most of his breakfast menus look like avocado and poached eggs on whole-grain bread slices, oatmeal with berries and peanut butter, black beans, scrambled egg tacos with spinach, guacamole, and tomatoes, green smoothies with fruits, beets, and yogurt.

Here’s What His Lunch Looks Like

Marc makes sure to include a small workout session before lunch. He usually goes swimming in the summer season and this helps with cognitive function. He usually enjoys his lunch around 12:30 pm. Some of his favourite lunch food items are whole-grain bread sandwiches with avocados, spinach, tomatoes, and non-processed deli meat. Make sure that the meat is without nitrates. Other options are brown rice with avocado and chicken salad with blueberry balsamic dressing, whole-grain wrap with beans, leafy vegetables, and protein options such as chicken, salmon, tofu, or tuna.

Some of Marc’s favourite dinner options are grilled chicken with green beans and sweet potatoes, whole-grain fajitas with chicken or tofu, and lots of black beans, bell pepper, and onions, zucchini noodles or whole-grain pasta with lean pork chops and broccolini.
