As revealed in a report by Arabian Business, the Jais Flight zip line in Ras Al Khaimah has been awarded the title of the world’s longest zip line by the Guinness World Records. This recognition has been accorded as this zip line spans nearly 3 km. Located on the Jebel Jais mountain, which is also the highest peak in the UAE, the position of this attraction makes it a bustling hub for adventure tourism. So, when visiting the park, people can begin their experience at the Jais Adventure Park welcome centre from where they can purchase tickets and prepare for the flight.
Why Is This A Top Attraction?
Situated about 1,680 m above sea level, this zip line has no age restriction, but it does require the participants to weigh anywhere between 40 to 120 kg. In fact, they must be at least 122 cm tall! And, once the riders have been safely strapped with harnesses and safety gear, they are launched in a Superman position for a ride that lasts about two minutes.
So, they are suspended through a zip above a glass floor platform. From challenging hikes to sky tours, has a lot to offer besides the zip line route that’s famous among Aventuras.
