Rajasthan has a lot to offer, from clothes to food to amazing experiences. Jaisalmer, a part of Rajasthan, is filled with breathtaking views, art, history, culture, and delicious food. Some people find some of the cultures that have persisted for decades to be a little strange, but others adore them. One such old generational culture of selling bhang-laced sweets still prevails in Jaisalmer. The bhang shop owner, Mr. Bhang, was visited by Shenaz Treasury, a well-known Instagram traveller.

Shenaz Treasury’s Visit To The Bhang Shop In Jaisalmer

The first thing to get clear is that bhang is a mixture of cannabis buds, flowers, and leaves that is added to food. The second thing is that bhang is legal in Rajasthan. In her video, Shenaz reveals that this bhang shop sells lassi, chocolates, and cookies all filled with bhang. Imagine eating these; the thought of it is already euphoric.

Mr. Bhang has been running his bhang shop for the last 48 years. His shop is quite famous in Jaisalmer because he’s the only one in the city who sells bhang cookies. Cookies and chocolates are available for eating, and many types of lassi are available for drinking.

The level at which they make bhang lassi varies. There are different types of lassis that they offer, like a lassi called baby lassi. Other lassis that they have are medium, strong, and super-duper sexy strong. Finally, there is a lassi called ‘Full Power 24 Hour, No Toilet, No Shower.’ Well, if there is an award for the most innovative name for lassis, it has to be given to Mr. Bhang.

Later in the video, Shenaz shows the viewers a really tasty lassi and asks Mr. Bhang what would happen if she drank it. He said that it’s like being on the set of an old movie, and she’ll see lovely colours and designs and be able to walk or fly in the fort (not quite literally).
