Janhvi Kapoor Recalls Her Previous Appearance On Curly Tales & This Is What She Says In Retrospect

For one of our Sunday Brunch episodes, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, made her way to the stunning house of the “Kapoor’s” in Bandra, Mumbai. The ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ actor, Janhvi Kapoor, welcomed us for hearty conversations and lovely home-cooked food. From talking about films, trolls, food and more, it was a wholesome episode. This isn’t her first time on our show; we recalled her last appearance.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Previous Appearance On Curly Tales

While on the subject of cooking, Kamiya subtly reminded Janhvi Kapoor about her last Curly Tales episode. Recalling the video, the actor instantly mentioned, “I will never forget that episode!” To rub salt into the wound, Kamiya asked the reason. Janhvi said, “Because I said something very stupid and then got trolled for it.”

She continued that she voiced her frustration about mathematics and how there is no need to learn algebra for daily life functioning. She also stated in the previous episode that this subject makes one retarded. This time, she is clearing the air! Janhvi meant that maths is not her cup of tea and it makes her feel stupid.

She is now aware that she didn’t express this thought in the correct manner which led to her getting ruthlessly trolled on the Internet.

How Does She Handle Trolls?

We were curious to know about her technique of dealing with trolls. She told us that she doesn’t bother giving so much attention to trolls. According to her, the Internet doesn’t care enough because they have a short attention span. Janhvi continued, “They laugh at you and move on. Even you shouldn’t give yourself that much importance.”

However, it wasn’t such an easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy task for her to ignore the trolls. At the beginning of her film career, it affected her deeply. She felt like the entire world’s focus was on her and it disturbed her. With time, she developed a thick skin and doesn’t care about what people behind the screens have to say about her.
