Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most chill actors we have interviewed on our Sunday Brunch episodes! Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani was in Janhvi’s abode in Bandra, Mumbai. Our guest gave a short tour of her space, then lounged in her pyjamas to indulge in yummy ghar ka khaana along with loads of fun conversations. She is a massive foodie and we loved eating our way through the entire scrumptious food spread. She mentioned her favourite hangout spots in Mumbai; check it out.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Favourite Hangout Spots In Mumbai
The ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ actor used to stay in Andheri and finally shifted to Bandra for easier travels to work. She told us that around six to seven hours were spent in the car travelling to shooting spots from her Andheri home. After a point, it became tiresome to spend long hours in the traffic of Mumbai. This resulted in shifting her base to Bandra.
As Janhvi spent most of her time in Juhu, Andheri and then Bandra, Kamiya wanted to learn about her favourite hangout spots. She said one of the most memorable ones is cycling and enjoying Ghoda Gadi at Lokhandwala Back Road. Then she immediately recalled a fond memory of relishing frankies from the popular Tibb’s Frankie with her mother, Sridevi.
She said, “Mere muh mein paani aa gaya! We used to have udhar ka frankie and then we used to go to have Natural’s ka ice cream at night.” She added that going out for a drive at night with her father, Boney Kapoor, to eat ice cream at Natural’s was like a ritual. We hope once in a while the Kapoors do go out for ice cream drives to cherish those sweet childhood days.

Boney Took Sridevi To This Spot When Pregnant With Their First-Born
While on the topic of food in Mumbai, Janhvi highlighted that her parents have more interesting stories about the epic food scenes in this city. She said, “I think when she was pregnant with me, he would take her to Haji Ali for fruit cream and faluda. I don’t know where but somewhere over there.” Now we know one of the reasons why she is such a massive foodie and doesn’t shy away from eating her heart out!
