Travelling is fun but having to pack your bags and travelling along with them is probably one of the most cumbersome tasks to do. Lugging around those heavy bags and at times, even having to pay extra for them is just awful. Imagine if you could travel to places without this burden! Well, you don’t have to imagine it anymore, especially if you’re travelling via Japan Airlines. Here’s what you need to know about their new program.
Japan Airlines Will Let Passengers Rent Clothes
In an effort to reduce the amount of luggage that people travel with. Japan Airlines, in association with Sumimoto Corporation, is launching a new service. It will let passengers select their clothing at the time of booking their tickets.
This will allow passengers to forego packing for their trip as they will be able to rely on the rented clothes for the duration of their trip. The airline is also offering an option where they can have the clothes delivered to the hotel that they’ll be staying at.
This means that people can also travel while being more sustainable. This new service has the potential to revolutionise the way people have travelled up until this point. Passengers can opt for this service on the official website of the airline.

Travelling Luggage-Free Can Now Be A Reality
This service is ideal for people who have to regularly make short trips to various destinations and don’t have the time to or aren’t able to pack their own clothes. The website will offer various styles including but not limited to ‘formal,’ ‘casual,’ and ‘smart casual.’
At a time, passengers can rent up to eight pieces of clothing for as long as two weeks. So if your trip is short, this service is ideal for you. The services can cost anywhere between ¥4,000 and ¥7,000 (₹2,279 and ₹3,989).
You can select from three sizes: small, medium and large. Since the airline will source the clothes from overstock, passengers can seamlessly support sustainable travel and also make their trip more convenient for them.
