Jennifer Winget, “Mumbai Is My Heart & My Soul”

Jennifer Winget

Actor Jennifer Winget was in conversation with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for this wonderful episode of Tere Gully Mein in Mumbai. She shot to fame through the popular TV serial ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ which aired on Star One channel. For this exciting episode, we explored the lanes of Versova as Jennifer took us to her favourite food joints here. While conversing, she shared her love for Mumbai and Goa.

Jennifer Winget’s Is A Mumbaikar At Heart

We began the episode with Jennifer Winget by jumping on the topic of Mumbai while cruising down the lanes of Versova. Kamiya wanted to learn whether Jennifer, half-Punjabi half-Christian, was a Mumbaikar at heart. She informed us that she has always been a Mumbaikar as her parents have lived their entire lives in Mumbai.

She expressed her love for the city by saying, “Mumbai is home, Mumbai is heart, Mumbai is soul.” The ‘Raisinghani vs Raisinghani’ actor also added that this city means everything to her as it is both her “janmabhoomi and karmabhoomi”. Folks who have had the chance to live in his city for a while truly understand the lasting effect this city has!

After Jennifer Winget talked about her adoration for Mumbai, Kamiya wanted to learn the reason behind her love for Goa. Our guest simply replied, “Who doesn’t love Goa? We have grown up watching films where Goa was the place where you would go to a party or just chill,” and that has sort of created higher expectations from this beach destination.

It’s an absolute beaut of a location to just relax! On top of that, Jennifer also bought a beautiful place in this state. She often finds herself heading to Goa whenever she feels the need to chill from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. Hence, owning a place there gives the actor another excuse to just fly out, relax by the beach and live her Goan life at her abode.

What quick weekend getaways from Delhi to Manali mean are the same as trips to Goa from Mumbai or Pune. Just give this a thought, it is quite an equation.
