Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, caught up with the stunning actor Jennifer Winget on the recent episode of Tere Gully Mein in Versova. From stepping into the world of glitz and glam with daily soaps to starring in OTT web series, she has become a common face on television. While cruising on the roads of Versova, we chatted about Jennifer Winget’s childhood days including school and college times. Check out her favourite hangout spots in the city.
Jennifer Winget Used To Hangout Here During Her College Life In Mumbai
Jennifer Winget, a Mumbaikar, was born in Bhandup. Due to work commitments, she oscillated between Goregoan and Bhandup and its nearby areas. Finally, she has settled down in Goregoan. While chatting about her school and college days, the actor revealed that Powai was a regular hangout spot.
Jennifer told us that she completed her 10th standard from St. Xavier’s High School while residing in Bhandup. She was enrolled at K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering for college but never completed her degree. It was due to her flourishing acting career.
However, back in the day, she recalled the popular and beautiful Galleria Shopping Mall in Hiranandani was just up and coming. With such appealing architecture, great recreational activities, a shopping complex and more, the mall was a stunner! Hence, it was one of the coolest places to hang out for Mumbaikars residing in Powai or Bhandup.
She Doesn’t Regret Completing Her College Degree
We circled back to Jennifer Winget’s college times and asked whether she ever regretted never completing her degree. She said, “I think I have learned so much outside (the college) that I didn’t regret it. Education-wise, I think I should have but life is a great teacher.” Kamiya agreed.
Jennifer also mentioned that her career in acting happened during her college years. Slowly, everything fell into place and she stepped into the limelight and left K. J. Somaiya College to pursue her true passion. The rest is history!
