Jennifer Winget Would Drive Every Night To Bandra’s Mount Mary Church After Pack-Up

Jennifer Winget Mount Mary Church

On the recent episode of Tere Gully Mein, the beautiful actor Jennifer Winget met Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, for an impressive food trail in Mumbai. We began the episode by driving the wonderful Honda Elevate to our first restaurant and naturally, the conversation began with driving in Mumbai. She drove to Mount Mary Church every day and here is the reason; read on.

Jennifer Winget’s Drive Ritual To Mount Mary Church In Bandra

We were driving on the roads of Versova when Kamiya asked our guest whether she could drive. Jennifer replied, “I absolutely love to drive,” before shifting her focus on how the city has become congested over the years. There is barely any space to enjoy cruising down the roads in Mumbai.

“There used to be a time when the city was not as packed and there were roads to drive on,” the ‘Bepannah’ actor commented. Back when roads were not always filled with honking cars, she had a ritual of driving to a peaceful spot in the city every night. Jennifer shared, “I used to finish my shoot and would drive every night to Bandra, go to Mount Mary Church, just sit there for a bit and come back home.”

As a half-Christian, Mount Mary Church became Jennifer Winget’s go-to spot as she could seek blessings and be at peace, away from all the hustle and bustle of Bandra.

Lastly, Kamiya mentioned that it feels extremely liberating to drive in Mumbai when the roads are clear which is usually after the peak hours. That is when an individual can blast their favourite songs and cruise around the beautiful spots in Mumbai.

In recent times, Jennifer has found a passion for cooking, all thanks to YouTube. She is watching delectable dishes and whipping them up at her home. She believes she is a great cook and we would love to gorge on some of her new culinary crafts.

The actor revealed that she has made some lip-smacking coconut lime cod curry and chicken tikka masala. As someone who wasn’t into cooking, she was super proud of her creations! She flaunted her hidden MasterChef pretty well.
