Netarhat: Jharkhand’s Hill Station Gets Its Own Jungle Safari

But for many years, it has remained a hidden gem and does not enjoy much popularity. In short, it is underrated. But the Government of Jharkhand plans to change that. According to a report by The Times of India, state tourism minister Sudivya Kumar inaugurated the new jungle safari in Netarhat on Thursday. The safari is rolled out jointly by the state tourism and forest departments.
The initiative aims to attract more tourists to this lesser-known yet equally beautiful hill station. The move will also allow visitors to take a peek into the stunning biodiversity of Netarhat and explore its untouched nature. The tourism minister told The Times of India that Netarhat is Jharkhand’s natural jewel. With this jungle safari, wildlife and nature lovers can now explore its dense forests, diverse wildlife, and natural beauty in a safe and organised way. Moreover, the launch of the safari will also create new job opportunities for local communities.
