As you relax at home and savour peaceful moments, remember that the Jawans stationed at the border are the ones who make this tranquillity possible. These brave soldiers risk their lives every day to safeguard our nation. To honour their incredible sacrifices, JK Paper and Curly Tales are excited to introduce a touching new series just in time for India’s 78th Independence Day. ‘Sandese Aate Hai’ is a heartwarming initiative that will deliver handwritten letters from you to our Jawans at the border!
Sandese Aate Hai: Sending Messages Of Gratitude To Our Brave Jawans
Our Jawans endure extended separations from their families, brave extreme weather conditions, and face formidable challenges— all to ensure that we, as citizens, can rest easy and live our lives in safety. To show our deep appreciation for their dedication and hard work, JK Paper and Curly Tales have launched this special series. Prepare for an emotional journey as we celebrate their heroism.
In recent months, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, has been gathering handwritten letters from people of all ages across the country. These heartfelt messages are filled with words of encouragement, blessings, and most importantly, love.
A Sneak Peek Into The Letters
We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of affection and gratitude in these letters. Here are a few snippets:
- Khushi, a 7th-grade student from Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidhya Mandir, writes: “I thank you for the sacrifices you make. It’s truly challenging to be away from family and friends. I am very proud to be an Indian. Just one thing to say: Take care, well done, and Jai Hind!”
- Rishi Sodha from Podar International School shares: “Writing this letter for you is a great honour. I’m very thankful to JK Paper and Curly Tales. Thanks to you, we can sleep peacefully. You are the true heroes of India. When I see films about the army, my spirit soars high! Salute to you!”
- Rohini Singh, another student from Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidhya Mandir, adds: “I’m thrilled to write to you. I see you as a brother, uncle, or lifesaver. Happy Raksha Bandhan! My mother says that while we enjoy ourselves, our soldiers endure extreme conditions to protect us. We’re all waiting eagerly for you to come home and celebrate with us!”
An Initiative By JK Paper & Curly Tales
The care and thoughtfulness behind these letters are evident, especially since they are handwritten. There’s something profoundly personal about penning a message on paper, particularly when that paper is produced sustainably by JK Paper.
Just as our Jawans are committed to preserving our peace, JK Paper is dedicated to protecting the environment. Their paper is crafted through the Agro Social Farm Forestry Program. This initiative supports close to 130,000 farmer families.
Debasish Ganguly, GM – Marketing & Communications at JK Paper Ltd., notes, “Our paper is made from trees grown sustainably, not from natural forests. Let’s adorn this paper with our love for our soldiers. With JK Paper – Paper Of The Nation, we bridge hearts and honour our Jawans.”
Bringing Letters From Over 100 Schools Across 17 Cities
Indians’ pride in their courageous Jawans shines through the letters written by students from over 100 schools across 17 cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and more. These letters express gratitude and support for the soldiers. Kamiya will personally carry and hand over these letters to the soldiers.
Kind words can light up even the darkest moments, and your messages of support will fortify our soldiers in their challenging duties. We can only imagine how amazing the Jawans at the border will feel after reading these words and knowing that even today, ‘unke liye Sandese Aate Hai!’ Stay tuned to the Curly Tales YouTube Channels to witness their reactions!
Jai Hind!
