It was only last year that we were bringing you details about the weddings of Jordan’s Crown Prince, Hussein bin Abdullah and Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein. And now, we are here with another brilliant news. Yes, they have now welcomed their first child together, a baby girl on Saturday morning. Here’s everything you need to know about this blessed news!
Crown Prince Hussein & Princess Rajwa Welcome Their First Child
As posted in heartwarming videos by the Royal Hashemite Court on the Instagram handle, the new parents were seen overjoyed with a baby girl making her entry into the family. In fact, the king and the queen of Jordan also expressed their joy on X (formerly Twitter) as they announced the arrival of their granddaughter. Not only this, Queen Rania Al Abdullah also took to her Instagram account to share some snippets from this blessed moment as the entire family came together to welcome the newest member.

The Royal Princess Is Named Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II
It’s worth noting that the new parents have named the little baby Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. And this news comes after the Royal Hashemite Court also announced that the royal power couple were expecting their first baby this summer back in April. At this point, it should be noted that there will be no change in the line of succession as the baby is a girl.
This is important as Jordan’s Constitution dictates that the throne passes to male heirs. This means that Crown Prince Hussein is the heir to the throne and is followed by his brother Prince Hashem. It’s worth noting that the newest addition to the family will be receiving the titles of Her Royal Highness and Princess.
This is indeed good news and a moment of immense happiness for the royal family in Jordan and the nation itself.
