Booking train tickets during the peak holiday and festive seasons is such a task. Though Railways often run additional trains during such occasions to cater to most travellers’ needs, many people end up not getting tickets. Even, some choose to travel in congested trains. A video of a crowded train is making rounds online and passengers’ innovation to make an additional berth grabbed everyone’s attention.

Passengers Created An Additional Berth On A Crowded Train

Taking to the X platform, MANJUL (@MANJULtoons) shared a video showing glimpses of the makeshift arrangement.

Train passengers took their creativity to the next level by making an extra berth on a jammed train. Looks like they have found a temporary solution to enhance space on a train, even after it was crowded with many travellers. The recent video shows how people use their creativity to make the most of their situation.

To make this makeshift sleeping space, they tied ropes with the upper berths of a passage on a crowded compartment. They suspended the ropes and tied them strongly to prepare a comfortable seat to sit and sleep. Indians are experts in resolving every issue with jugaad and this video is one of the biggest proofs of innovativeness.

The clip impressed viewers with a hysterical addition to a rather uncomfortable train journey. The X post does not confirm the name of the train or the duration of this hilarious incident.

Shared on November 4, the X post has amassed thousands of views already. Till now, the viral footage has over 540K views with reactions from netizens. According to most comments under the video, many X users are impressed to see the creativity of the passengers. They like the concept of creating an extra adjustable berth inside the packed train.
