A Delta Air Lines passenger was left furious after he was asked to give up his first-class seat to accommodate a dog. According to the passenger’s Reddit post, @ben_bob, he got an upgrade from the airline to first class. However, soon after, he was “downgraded to a worse seat” than the one he previously had. When he inquired about the change, the desk agent said “Something changed”.

Disgruntled, the man went ahead to board the flight only to find a dog in the first-class seat that was previously assigned to him. This left the man understandably furious. He reached out to Delta Support to tell them about the ordeal. In response, Delta Air Lines told him that, as per the company’s policy, “you may be relocated for service animals,” and “there is nothing they can do” about it.

The man shared a picture of the dog along with the entire issue in the post and added, “What an absolute joke. What’s the point of being loyal to this airline anymore, truly? I’ve sat back when others complained about this airline mistreating customers lately and slipping in service levels, but I’m starting to question my allegiance as well.”
