Going on a spiritual journey has always been a rejuvenating experience. Travelling to sacred places, visiting temples and religious sites, worshipping and praying to gods and goddesses, and seeking their blessings make us feel so special. Despite standing amongst a huge crowd of devotees, we can experience divinity.Recently, flights to sacred journeys such as Kailash Mansarovar Yatra began from Nepalgunj in Nepal.
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Began Recently
The first mountain flight to Kailash Mansarovar departed from Nepalgunj on January 29, 2024. The Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra flight carried 38 Indian passengers on this holy journey. The flight covered the most scenic and unending views of the majestic Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
Passengers on the chartered flight were from Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai, different parts of Uttar Pradesh, and more places in India. After the restrictions on travel during the COVID-19 pandemic were lifted, China began the holy journey to Kailash Mansarovar back in 2023. However Indian visitors could not easily take part in this pilgrimage in the beginning. There were several problems such as visa restrictions and an exorbitant rise in the fees.
Devotees from India do not need to travel to Kathmandu to reach Kailash Mansarovar with this Yatra. Without travelling all the way to the Nepal capital, they can witness Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake.
