From ruling the small screen to making her talent shine in movies and OTT shows, Karishma Tanna is a force to be reckoned with! Before we started our food trail, Karishma Tanna invited us to her beautiful home and gave us a tour. She mentioned how she spends her mornings on her massive balcony and does yoga there. While Bandra has been her home for the past four years, she has been a SoBo girl all her life! She did her schooling and college there but Bandra has now become her home.

Being married to a Mangalorean for three years now, we couldn’t help but ask Gujarati Karishma Tanna how her taste buds have changed after marriage. “I can eat South Indian food every day! Shaadi ke phele bhi, my mom used to make idli, dosa, or anything South Indian at least twice a week. In fact, Varun (her husband) is often like every Sunday idli-dosa banta hai, what is this? Give me something else,” she jokingly shares.

So, does the sensational Karishma Tanna know how to cook? “I love cooking and I love Gujju food! I just love food. Mujhe khaana de do and I’m just happy,” she confessed.

We were in Bandra, so of course, we had to stop by Eat Around the Corner. While we were waiting for our salads, Karishma Tanna shared that despite being a Gujarati, she doesn’t have a sweet tooth and people often call her “pirated Gujarati”!

Our next stop was Imlee By Curly Tales and we had to start with some pani puri. Karishma Tanna shared that she is an ardent pani puri lover and can have around 20 of them in one go! We next tried Palak Pakoda Chaat, Singhada Chatpata, Dahi Papdi Chaat, and Rani Kachori. While we were enjoying all the delicious food, Kamiya played a fun round of ‘Never Have I Ever’ with Karishma and it was super fun.
