Election Results Probably In Favour Of Congress

Senior Congress leaders are sure that they will win this year’s election. According to Siddaramaiah, Congress leader, the results of this election are a stepping stone to the Lok Sabha elections. As for Mallikarjun Kharge, it will be the people’s victory.

Karnataka is hosting Legislative Assembly Elections which means every elected representative will get to be in power for five years. Moreover, they will be called MLAs, or Members of the Legislative Assembly. The party is regarded as the majority party and its leader becomes the chief minister or minister if representatives from the same party win in a majority of the constituencies. Simply put, the party with the most MLAs becomes the ruling party.

The results of this election are yet to be declared. However, looking at the enthusiasm of Congress workers, it looks like they are hoping for a big win.
