All eyes are on Karnataka as May 13 is the day of counting votes of the Karnataka Assembly elections. To prevent any mishappenings, the Karnataka government has imposed Section 144 in the entire city of Bengaluru from 6 am on Saturday till 12 am on Sunday. Section 144 Imposed In Bangalore Amid Karnataka Election Result 2023
According to The Indian Express, Bengaluru police have announced a clampdown in the city by imposing Section 144 on Karnataka Election counting day. Moreover, the sale and consumption of liquor are prohibited in the Bengaluru police commissionerate region. The police revealed in a statement that extra security personnel shall be deployed around 5 counting centres in Bengaluru, here’s where votes of 32 Assembly constituencies are undergoing counting.

Mount Carmel College, St Joseph’s Indian High School, BMS Women’s College, SSMRV College and Akash International School are the 5 counting centres for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023. The DCPS of the East and Central region, Crime & Whitefield, South and Command Centre, South East and CAR (South) and North East and VVIP Security are in charge of these centres respectively.
